Returns Policy

Returning products

We hope you will be pleased with your purchase. Should you wish to return an item (excluding non-returnable lines), we will be happy to refund in full or exchange, if it is in full resaleable condition. Returns should be made within reasonable time (usually 30 days) and in original undamaged packaging. Please be aware that, in certain circumstances, a re-stocking charge may apply.

Should goods be delivered faulty, incorrect or damaged, please report to us immediately and confirm either by emailing us at info@selectce.co.uk or in writing within 3 days of delivery.

Please note that there may be a collection charge for any items returned.

In both instances, please call our customer service team on 01908 980075 (8am - 6pm Monday to Friday) to obtain details on how to return your product and obtain a refund.

Returns

* All items must be returned to us within 7 days, unused, in their original packaging and undamaged. Please note that you will be charged a restocking fee, normally 25% plus transportaion costs

* You MUST complete the form below and await a response PRIOR to returning your goods.

GAS APPLIANCES

All gas appliance installations and fittings are to be carried out by a qualified Gas Safe registered engineer. This is the Customer’s responsibility if not installed by Select Catering Equipment LTD. There are specific qualifications that are required for different types of gas and appliances. Please check and record the Gas Safe Engineer's licence number. This will be required when filling out the product warranty registration. Regular maintenance is the Customer's responsibility. Any servicing or repairs are to be carried out by a suitably qualified engineer. The general period between services specified by Manufacturers is 12 months. Always refer to the appliance manual.

ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES

Please refer to the appliance manual for all installation and maintenance guidelines as these will differ depending on appliance and power output. All electrical hardwired equipment must be installed and tested by a qualified Electrician. Serial numbers will need to be provided on all warranty forms.

REFRIGERATION UNITS

Maintaining your refrigeration unit is important. If fitted with a filter, the cleaning of this is required on a regular basis to maintain the functioning of the unit. Refer to the maintenance section of the manual to show how this is done. The upkeep of the filters on the refrigeration units i.e. Polar fridges are absolute paramount to prevent breakdown. Warranty cover will be void if maintenance is not carried out correctly. All warranty calls will not include any maintenance issues. This is the sole responsibility of the customer and will be chargeable.
